Greenslate Community Farm
A big thank you to everyone who voted in the AGM board elections
We want to give a big thank you to our members, especially those who voted and took part in a very important process for the farm. Democracy and what the community wants is crucial to us. If Greenslate is anything, it is the community that supports it.
Now we have a new board and they have been put in place by one of the biggest votes that Greenslate has had at an AGM.
We all need to work together to get the farm back working for the community again as soon as Covid restrictions will allow.
Please stick to the rules.
Just to clarify, the farm is open, but only at weekends and under the following circumstances:
Social distancing must be observed (2m gap between parties).
Only families and households in social hubs can congregate, and that the farm will not be responsible if groups outside these criteria visit.
Only the grower area, animal area and woods are open. Sadly, the cafe and all enclosed areas remain closed.
All visitors must follow the simple rules that are stationed around the farm, including the use of hand sanitisers.
Volunteers and members of the farm are all welcome provided that they comply with the above rules.
