Strawbale Building Project
The farm has now commenced work on its Strawbale Building Project.
The building once completed will house further facilities for the care farm and local community.
The project is a result of a successful funding application to Power 2 Change and Public Health England.
For anyone interested in volunteering on constructing the Strawbale Building please contact Kath Godfrey for further details firstname.lastname@example.org or call us on 01695 229150
Interested in Retail?
We are currently looking for volunteers who can help to man our on site Farm Shop which is open every day from 12pm to 3pm. We are looking for friendly and enthusiastic people who wouldn’t mind giving a few hours a week to ensure that our customers are able to be served and be able to engage with visitors and gain feedback ready for the new Farm Shop which is due to open in June 2017.
We are looking for people who can cover weekdays 12pm-3pm. If you would like to have a chat or ask any questions please email email@example.com or call 01695 229150.
We are looking for Volunteers to help us with our Kids Club which runs every Wednesday Evening during term time from 4pm to 6pm.
Volunteers preferably must be aged 18 and over and have a suitable DBS. We run the club in accordance with the Forest School Curriculum so would be a great opportunity for volunteers to gain experience in this area, especially if you wish to run similar sessions in the future yourself. All volunteers are expected to get involved in activities and have a go with the children (but that also includes treat times!)
If you are interested or would like further information please call 01695 229150 or email firstname.lastname@example.org
If you wish to become involved in any other aspect of the farm from helping with designing of public spaces, to working with the animals to helping us with fundraising, please get in touch by email email@example.com or call 01695 229150 or keep an eye on our Facebook and Twitter pages or our website and local press/noticeboards for details. Alternatively, submit your contact details using our simple contact form – ask to be included on our mailing list or leave us a message.
